Antique French Louis XVI Oak Parquet Dining Table with Pop-Up Leaf is an ingenious design that will serve your family for many years to come.  Crafted from solid oak with parquet on top, the top is made of two halves that slide open to reveal a concealed pop-up leaf that allows more guests or family members to be accommodated.  Leaf folds back in so table can be reverted to reclaim floor space.  The rounded ends make it a great choice for families with youngsters running about the house.  Support is provided by a fluted apron all around, accented with pyramidal plinth blocks above each of four tapered and fluted legs.  Elegant but not pretentious, it will immediately become a family heirloom piece!
