Antique Rustic Country French Trestle Dining Table is the perfect choice for any casual decor, and literally designed to last for centuries!  The top consists of about 2-inch thick solid oak planks so sturdy that a supporting apron is not necessary, maximizing knee clearance.  Note the time-honored traditional craftsmanship that went into the creation of the table including pegged mortise & tenon joints.  The legs are four massive timbers hand-carved in a subtle neogothic style affixed to a masive base and "T" style top creating an extraordinarily stable design that your family can enjoy for generations of daily hard use.  The dense, old-growth elm wood adds to the lasting nature of the design, while providing a rich, naturalistic effect thanks to the marvelous grain structure and our proprietary stripping process that retains the natural beauty and patina of the wood.  The ends feature enough overhang to seat the lord and lady of the manoir at each end if so desired!
