Antique Rustic Italian Stripped Oak Trestle Dining Table is designed and constructed to literally bring smiles to your family's faces for generations to come!  The thick, solid planks of oak form the top, providing such a sturdy surface that supporting aprons are not necessary, which increases knee room dramatically.  Support is provided by two side structures carved in exuberant Italian urn forms, crafted from thick oak, and splayed at the bottom with stepped feet extending out each side just enough to provide a very sturdy platform while still maximizing foot room.  The supports are also connected with a finely contoured full width trestle fully mortised into the supports and secured with shims in the time-honored traditional craftsmanship that has existed for centuries in the Old Country!
