Antique Rustic Trestle Table in Stripped Sycamore was fashioned from thick, solid planks of old-growth sycamore to last for generations!  The plank top is so thick that an apron is not necessary, which leaves more knee room than most other designs.  The top is dovetailed to accept the supports below, contoured in a figure eight urn form, then fitted to cross timbers that are beveled and arranged to provide a sturdy platform.  The supports are also connected to each other with a trestle mortised into the supports and secured with a wedge-shaped shim.  Truly a splendid example of fine generational craftsmanship, superb materials, timeless design and subtly natural coloration!
