Early 19th Century Rustic Tuscan Trestle Table was hand-crafted by talented Italian artisans, and features a sturdy, almost 3" thick plank top with softened edges supported by two equally substantial pediments in scrolled form, that are splayed out at the floor for stability, then connected not only to the underside of the husky top, but also with two sturdy trestles one atop the other, to create a table your family will enjoy for generations to come!  Crafted from old-growth elm wood using time-honored techniques of pegged mortise & tenon joinery, it features a dark stain for a stunning Old World look that is also ideal for casual or rustic decors.  Such tables occupied a place of honor in fine homes, serving as a place for the family to gather and share the events of the day.
