Rustic 19th Century European Oak Dining Table is the perfect choice for casual dining, a breakfast area, or as a convenient table for any room!  Just over five feet in length, it's small enough to fit where larger tables would crowd a space, and made even more traffic-friendly by the rounded ends, eliminating all sharp corners.  The solid plank top also features a cove bevel above a half-bullnose to soften the edge even more.  Single planks on all sides were used to create the aprons, then stylized on the edge with just a little flair on the ends where they connect to the turned column legs via double-pegged mortise & tenon joinery.  The turned legs are then connected below with a classic "H" stretcher that supplies sturdiness while keeping the trestle on the centerline for maximum footroom and comfort.  The sheer natural beauty and patina of the old-growth oak has been retained thanks to our proprietary stripping process, performed by our expert in-house staff!
