Rustic Antique Oak Dining Table with Trestle was crafted with a growing family in mind ~ perfect to serve as the main dining table, and as the family grew, it would make an excellent breakfast table, then when the kids left the nest, back to the main dining room!  Crafted from dense, solid old-growth oak, the planks on the top are so sturdy a supporting apron isn't needed, increasing leg clearance to an amazing 29" high.  Double upright posts on each end fitted to cross timbers are further strengthened by a full width trestle shimmed into place.  Such designs date back centuries and there's no doubt in our mind this table will last for a century or two itself!
