Rustic Trestle Dining Table was crafted from thick planks of solid oak to literally last for generations.  The plank top is so sturdy, a supporting apron is unnecessary, providing more knee clearance than other designs.  Support is provided by massive side structures gracefully cut to provide the necessary solidity of the table while still amplifying leg and foot room.  Even the trestle which is fully mortised and shimmed into place, is raised up to allow more space close to the floor while still adding to the stability of the table.  An ingenious design that has been handed down from generation to generation, such trestle tables as this are destined to become instant family heirlooms!
