19th Century French Neoclassical Elm Wood Entry Door with Cast Iron Inset was designed to create an impressive entryway, and was crafted to provide the utmost in security!  Solid, thick planks of old-growth elm wood, prized for its strength, were utilized for the entire framework, which includes pyramidal panels recessed on each side of the exquisitely cast wrought iron upper panel.  The wrought iron design features amazing scrollwork, foliates and large rosettes to create an impressive curbside appeal.  Centered below that mounted atop a raised accent with drapery apron appears the door knob, connected to the lockwork inside with a bar mechanism that reaches to the inside door frame to lock the door into place.  Below the handle are two pyramidal panels side by side in chamfered frames, and a beefy molded kickplate across the entire width to add even more strength.  From the inside, a framed opaque glass panel on its own door frame keeps out the weather yet easily opens to allow cleaning the glass and ironwork.  Perfect for creating an unforgettable and unique entryway into your home or office!
