Mid-19th Century French Neoclassical Carved Fireplace Surround is the perfect choice to create a stunning visual focal point in your favorite room!  Standing a majestic seven feet tall, it was designed for a grand scale, and features Neoclassical styling blended with elements that were popular with Louis XIV to create a stately presence.  Multiple corbels across the mantel are separated by pyramidal panels, providing an intriguing three dimensional interplay.  Bold molding frames the mantel both above and below, with Doric capitals appearing on each side over the tapered and carved pilasters, which are set on acanthus leaf-adorned plinth blocks below.  Architectural antiques like this exceptional example are almost impossible to find in Europe these days, so do not hesitate to include it in your plans for your dream home!
