Cast from solid pewter, each lamp has excellent weight and substance, with a rich aged patina that gives the metal depth, character, and a quietly timeworn glow.
The design is inspired by Baroque candlesticks, with bold scrolling bases, acanthus leaf details, shaped crests, and finely modeled ornament from the tripod feet to the candle platform. The tall, tapering silhouette gives the pair a wonderful architectural quality, while the pewter surface keeps the look soft, refined, and beautifully suited to both traditional and more updated interiors.
Professionally electrified and rewired to American standard, each lamp is fitted with a large candle sleeve and brass extension supporting two sockets. Each socket has its own pull chain switch, allowing for practical control of the light level.
