19th Century French Louis XV Oval Gilded Mirror

19th Century French Louis XV Oval Gilded Mirror is the perfect choice to add style, flair, visual excitement, and a lovely reflection of ambient light!  Exuberant Rococo-inspired crown features stylized shell, floral and foliate motifs that envelope the entire upper portion of the oval form.  Flourishes appear midway, then at the bottom the embellishment mirrors that of the crown above (pun intended!).  The original gold finish with some color highlights remains, but has achieved a lovely state of aging and patina that only adds to the charm of this special piece.  Perfect for a cozy room, hallway or the bathroom!
Backing has been replaced to maintain protection of the silvering of the mirror.
