Location: Baton Rouge

19th Century French Louis XVI Gilded Mirror features a magnificent crown embellished with a transitional motif that carries over the scrollwork and naturalism of the Louis XV style, but with markedly distinct neoclassical elements such as the archer's bow, torchere and quiver of arrows.  Flowing ribbon appears to tie the assemblage together, enhanced with laurel branches for a timeless effect.  Embossed floral and acanthus leaf motifs appear all around the entire framework, making this an excellent choice atop a piece of furniture, a mantel, or free-hanging on the wall!  Beaded molding surrounds the mirror for a nice finishing touch.
