19th Century Hand-Carved Black Forest Wall Mirror is a masterpiece of the sculptor's art!  Using finely grained fruitwood, the master artisan created a framework that is completely carved around the entire perimeter with grapevines and clusters of grapes in a remarkably lifelike rendition.  The carvings are cut clear through the frame so that one can see the wall behind the mirror upon which it has been hung through the gaps in the sculpture.  At the base appears a majestic upturned acanthus plume on a generously scrolled mount, and centered above appears a crest upon which the owner can place a medallion or have the family anagram carved.  The mirror glass itself was replaced in the last 40 or 50 years, providing a lovely reflection of your room.
