Antique French Louis XVI Walnut Mantel Mirror is perfect for adding timeless classicism to any decor!  Great for high mantels with heavy crown molding just above, placement above cased openings, or other such niche applications, it has been hand-carved from solid French walnut with a graceful arched arbalette form centered at the top with acanthus flourishes.  The arbalette is named after the French for archer's bow.  The frame flows downward on each side to squared corners then turns down to finish with a timeless corbel scroll.  Spiral ribbon motif creates the bordering.  The original French beveled mirror adds visual appeal and a lovely reflection of your room.  The natural beauty and patina of the walnut cannot be denied!.
