Antique French Neoclassical Gilded Mirror

Antique French Neoclassical Gilded Mirror is a phenomenal find, as the framework is a tailored molding with each corner embellished with a foliate motif such that the mirror can be oriented either vertically or horizontally!  Use as a floor mirror, atop a grand mantel, or on the buffet to make the dining room magically expand in size.    The original gold finish has attained a nice patina in the past several decades, only adding to the charm.  Note the subtle wheat motif that appears next to the glass between the foliate corner carvings.  Designed on a larger scale, it's perfect for homes with taller ceilings, grand family rooms, or anywhere a reflection would provide ambiance to your decorating scheme.
