Antique Italian Baroque Giltwood Mirror is the perfect blend of classical Italian sensibility melded with a touch of Baroque flair to create visual interest in any room!  A bold scallop shell takes center stage on the top, flanked by foliates with a couple of flower blossoms that emanate out from the center then cascade around the shoulders to hang a third of the way down the frame.  The base frame consists of a tailored molding that contrasts with the embellishment, which includes two foliate and scroll designs on each bottom corner that can also serve as feet should one decide not to free hang on the wall, but place onto a surface like a fireplace mantel, commode or buffet.  The gold finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades, and when combined with the generously sized mirror makes this a wonderful choice for accenting any room!
