Antique Italian Neoclassical Painted Mirror

Antique Italian Neoclassical Painted Mirror features incredible style inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, hand-crafted by Italian masters who sculpted the entire frame from solid wood.  Around the generous beveled mirror, the frame fully envelopes the glass with pierced Greek coin motif bordered by egg & dart, with bold rosettes on each corner.  The top is festooned with a lavish acanthus crest with sprays.  The entire frame is enhanced with the subtle pastels of the painted finish including gold highlighting, all of which has achieved a lovely patine over the decades to create a classic look that is still compatible with casual decors.
