Vintage Italian Neoclassical Giltwood Mirror

Vintage Italian Neoclassical Giltwood Mirror is a sophisticated expression of inimitable Italian flair!  A Florentine Fleur de Lys appears on the boldly arched crown, flanked by cascading foliates that encapsulate the intricately molded uppermost framework.  The rounded main segment of the frame features intermittent bas relief designs that conform to the curvature, or in the case of the base, the lack thereof, creating continuous visual interest.  The artfully beveled mirror follows the complex contours of the frame, and is completely enclosed with foliate bordering.  The gold finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades.
