19th Century French Louis Philippe Silver Mirror is a staple of classic design, amazingly approaching its second century of existence soon!  Such mirrors were considered a luxury for the affluent during this time period, and only appeared in the finer homes.  This example displays the traditional tailored architecture with upper rounded shoulders and a keyboard style bordering extending all around, making this a great choice for the mantel, atop a buffet or commode, or just free-hung on any wall.  Note the old planking on the back designed to protect the mirror's silvering.  The patinaed silver finish all across the front facade greatly adds to the visual allure, and the generously sized mirror provides a lovely reflection of the rest of your room.
