Antique French Louis XVI Painted Trumeau Mirror is a celebration of the revival of the neoclassic style which dates back to ancient Greece and Rome.  The rectilinear framework is enhanced by an arched panel above the French beveled mirror, which provides a lovely reflection and adds ambiance to any room.  The arched panel is artfully sculpted with a classic Country French basket with freshly picked flowers cascading over the rim on both sides.  Floral sprays also hang from the pilasters with small urns at the base pointing upwards towards the crown.  The carvings and entire framework is enhanced with a distressed painted finish that adds a wonderful casual effect to the work, with muted gray and off white tones sure to enhance any decor!
