Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by A. Van den Eynde depicts the entrance to an obviously affluent household, judging by the entryway columns.  Exquisite pastoral setting indicates the onset of fall.  It is not clear whether the artist was commissioned to depict this scene by the owners of the property, or that he was simply inspired by the majesty of the view.  Note the lush green palette accented by the emergence of fall colors.  The composition invites one to stroll down the country road and stop by for a visit!  Survives with its original gilded frame.
