A Flemish house with a stepped gable and warm red roof sits along the water’s edge, framed by mature trees, while a Gothic spire rises in the distance, anchoring the composition within the city’s recognizable skyline.
The composition is well balanced, with the canal and grassy bank guiding the eye into the scene and creating a natural sense of depth and perspective.
