Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Louis Thysebaert (1879-1962) is a wonderful post-impressionistic work that captures a bustling bridge in Venice.  Note how Thysebaert has rippled the reflections in the water of the structures as the ripples of the water appear to move into the scene.  A tantalizing glimpse of the rest of the storied city appears under the center archway, while people, animals and carts cross the bridge on a busy weekday in Venice!  Survives in its original gold-painted carved frame.
