19th Century Romantic French Terracotta Harvest Centerpiece will make a charming addition to your dining table for entertaining, or perhaps an addition to your mantel or buffet!  Designed with three platforms on two levels upon which one can place small vases, rose bowls, or objets d'art, it is finished in amazing detail all around the entire circumference for the viewing pleasure of everyone at the table.  Place in front of a mirror on the mantel or buffet for excellent results.  The scene is a romantic depiction of a young lad and maiden in the process of harvesting wheat and grapes, which has the multiple meaning of inferring bread and wine, as well as the Holy Communion, symbolism that represents how blessed we all truly are!  Note the intricate detail of the grapevines encircling the couple, and the Baroque-inspired scrollwork of the base adding even more visual appeal.  Hand-painted gold accents appear on the overall design painted to resemble bronze for an opulent effect.
