Antique French Renaissance Stool with Spooled Legs

Antique French Renaissance Stool with Spooled Legs features a finely contoured and beautifully carved seat, boasting both bas relief style carving around the edge in a demilune pattern, as well as intaglio style carving covering the entire seat in a stylized foliate rosette.  Support is provided by subtly flared spooled legs connected with spooled stretchers centered with a double finial.  Hand-crafted from solid oak to last for decades!
