19th Century French Chinoiserie Bronze Jardiniere is a stylistically historical keepsake, cast in solid bronze and fitted with a tin liner. The intricate detailing includes a flared, pierced gallery rail around the top lip, with a tier of zig-zag trim just underneath that incorporates two integral handles. A Renaissance theme with gryffins appears in the next tier that wraps around the entire work, with pierced Greek coin under that, and finally a bordering just above the undulating scrollwork of the heavy apron. Four elephants' heads create the support structure.
