19th Century French Napoleon III Period Brass Jardiniere

19th Century French Napoleon III Period Brass Jardiniere blends neoclassical architectural design with Rococo embellishment to create a unique looking centerpiece that can also serve as a flower receptacle.  Raised on a base with asymmetrical feet, it narrows down to a small diameter collar before expanding into a larger urn form, complete with a pierced gallery rail around the rim, and two exuberantly designed handles expressing a naturalistic foliate design.  Cast and formed from solid brass, it was designed to provide visual appeal for centuries.
