Crafted from select French walnut and finely cast brass, the armoire boasts a full-length hand-beveled dressing mirror that also provides a lovely reflection of your room.  The center door and side doors all open thanks to externally mounted brass barrel hinges to allow easy access to the shelves and interior drawers, the former of which are fully adjustable.  The stately architecture of the set represents a timeless beauty inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman master architects, coupled with embellishment that is distinctively French, with floral garlands, ribbon, laurel wreaths and banded wheat.  The side panels are particularly stunning with carved detail from top to bottom.  Bold molding and trim details abound in the design, which also features a step-front center section on the armoire, an arbalette or archer's bow form to the footboard, and subtly bowed front designs on both the nightstand and commode, the latter of two are topped with richly veined onyx for a truly stunning finishing touch.
