Pair French Louis XVI Twin Beds in Stripped Oak are a wonderful find, indeed!  Hand-crafted from dense, old growth oak, the pair has been designed to last for generation after generation.  The tailored, classically-inspired architecture includes a generously rounded top on both head and foot boards.  The same are carved all around with laurel wreath motif, with seed clusters at the crests.  More carved detail appears at the centers of the foot boards, depicting floral and foliate sprays.  Tailored molding pervades the remainder of the design, all of which is supported by tapered legs for a clean, timeless look.  A standard twin mattress will ride atop the rail shelves with room to spare on the length, an unusual luxury with most antique beds.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
