18th Century Dutch Cupboard with Inlay was crafted by incredibly talented artisans to create the complete serving and storage cabinet for an affluent family.  The exterior consists of hand-selected oak, with a subtle yet prominent crown overlooking the casework which is defined by the two mammoth doors.  Each door is inlaid with elm to depict a flower blossom motif at the center, with each corner adorned with 1/4 blossoms.  A finely detailed brass key guard appears at the center of the astragal that covers the seam between the doors, matching the key guard and bale pulls of the full width drawer below.  An intriguing pierced apron finishes the casework, which is supported by a leg structure consisting of four tapered and segmented legs connected to plinths which are then connected with a stretcher, all set on bun feet.  The real magic, however, is inside!  Doors swing wide open to reveal an incredibly decorated interior with walnut and stained fruitwood veneers creating starburst motifs, and veneering on the full width interior dawer as well as the three flatware drawers, with room for two big shelf spaces providing copious storage, especially when combined with the aforementioned full width exterior drawer.
