18th Century English Linen Press ~ Cabinet in Stripped Oak was designed to be the ultimate storage piece for an affluent family!  Two large cabinet doors with four panels each provide access to four surfaces within for just about anything you need to keep organized, while four drawers below are perfect for flatware and small linens.  Such pieces are also popular today in bedrooms as additional closet space.  Crafted from solid old-growth oak, it features a nicely proportioned crown molding overlooking the entire casework, brass key above and below, and intricately cast brass guards on the drawers with bale pulls.  A handsome base with scroll cut corners provides support.  Note the old lockwork on the cabinet above, and the hand-chamfered panels on the back side, along with pegged mortise & tenon joinery throughout the design. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
