18th Century Swedish Gustavian Period Painted Corner Cabinet is a wonderful way to utilize a corner space, normally "dead" space in the room, while simultaneously providing a handsome example of centuries-old hand-crafted excellence. The design features a two-tiered architecture, and a quarter of a cylinder design, sometimes called pie-shaped. A single door on top and another on the bottom provide access to surprising storage within, with multiple shelves and a completely painted interior for long lasting organizational convenience. Bold molding detail defines the crown above, and on the top of the lower tier, with a tailored base molding below raised off the ground with legs to allow for thorough floor cleaning. The painted finish on the exterior has achieved a warm, aged appearance thanks to decade after decade of enjoyment. The tailored design is also compatible with most any casual, rustic or modern decor.
