Pair 19th Century French Renaissance Confituriers ~ Cabinets

Pair 19th Century French Renaissance Confituriers ~ Cabinets are a truly rare find!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak, each was designed to last for generations, and features a solid plank top with a top tier fully carved all around with elongated egg motif, accented with lions' heads with brass rings on the corners, and a finely cast brass drawer pull to access the spacious drawer.  Under the lions appear fluted and turned columns set upon a boldly molded base.  Between each pair of columns are the amazing sculptures celebrating a successful hunt in the field, as well as a bountiful fishing trip.  The full relief designs are amazingly lifelike, and feature backgrounds of fully laden grapevines in the field, and marsh grasses and cattails for the sea.  Perfect for establishing symmetry in any room, they have been expertly stripped by our professional in-house staff for a lighter texture and appearance ideal for today's more casual decors.
