18th Century Dutch Center Table ~ Library Table reflects generations of traditional woodcraft for which the Dutch have been famous for many centuries!  This example features a typical solid plank top dovetailed into rails below which are then pegged into the support framework.  This provides a very sturdy table, yet one that can be disassembled easily for storage or transport.  A single drawer rides on heavy glides built into the design, that traverses either side for excellent access!  Fully mortised stretchers above and wraparound stretchers below connect the turned legs, each splayed outwards to enhance stability and sturdiness, as well as longevity.  Hand-crafted from seasoned old-growth oak to last for centuries!
