18th Century Rustic Country French Sofa Table ~ Desk ~ Grand Console is an extraordinarily versatile design, even usable as a library table in the middle of the room!  Finished on all four sides, yet in a rustic, casual fashion ideal for today's more relaxed decors, it was created from a variety of indigenous hardwoods by capable rural artisans for a lavish provincial home.  Exquisite wood grains are apparent on all fronts, especially the top which measures almost six and a half feet long.  Post legs are connected with the classic "H" stretcher, and the apron contains two drawers with enormous capacities, each fitted with a pair of forged steel pear-shaped pulls with shell motifs.  This is literally a table you can use in any room for so many purposes we don't have the space herein.  Imagine it in the family room with a giant 6 foot wide flat panel TV on top!
