19th Century French Napoleon III Period Painted Table

19th Century French Napoleon III Period Painted Table combines timeless Old World styling with a finish that is compatible with today's more casual decors.  The turned pedestal is supported by four boldly scrolled legs carved with bounty-of-the-earth motifs in full relief and acanthus scrolls, with the legs separated by rosettes, and a wreath at the bottom.  The apron, pedestal and legs all received the expert attentions of our in-house professional staff to create a weathered painted finish that accentuates the carvings yet softens the visual effect.  The slightly oval table top remains its original coloration, as well as the carved edge treatment, and has been thoroughly sealed to provide decades of enjoyment!
