19th Century Rustic Country French Sofa Table ~ Hall Table was designed to provide convenient storage and a surface in the entryway or hall, and designed to perform that function for centuries!  Utilizing dense, old-growth indigenous oak, the craftsmen utilized timeless techniques handed down from generation to generation, such as tapered legs which more ably control grain-related aging, to the solid plank top, to the pegged mortise & tenon joinery.  Examples of such joinery continue to provide structural stability to pieces 500 years of age and more to this day!  Two spacious drawers accessed with turned pull knobs create functionality.  Ideal for the hallway or anywhere a minimal footprint is desired, and perfect for the casual decor!
