19th Century Rustic Spanish Sofa Table ~ Console

19th Century Rustic Spanish Sofa Table ~ Console has been providing a charming accent surface for almost two centuries!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth seasoned oak by capable rural artisans, it features a single plank top framed by a molded edge, which is affixed to the supports below and reinforced with crosspieces dovetailed into the underside of the wood.  Support is provided by four intricately turned legs canted with a slight splay for added stability, and reinforced with a fully mortised "H" stretcher.  Literally designed to last for centuries, it has no finish other than the natural hardness, patina and beauty of the old growth wood.
