Antique Spanish Style Sofa Table ~ Console

Antique Spanish Style Sofa Table ~ Console is a full seven feet wide, making it ideal for larger family rooms.  Hand-crafted from solid red oak, it features a plank top and two-step design in the apron which also houses three very convenient drawers.  The drawers are carved on the sides with stylized foliates with berries, and the center drawer with an Ionic form in alternating orientation.  Brass key guards on all three drawers and heart-shaped pulls on the outer drawers add a nice accent.  Support is provided by a pair of scrolled legs positioned to create an urn form, mounted to feet which are connected with a trestle.  Truly an interesting design!
