18th Century Liegoise Two-Tiered Linen Press ~ Wardrobe is a versatile piece, able to serve in the dining room, family room, or even in the bedroom as a combination clothes storage and TV cabinet!  The graceful arch of the crown centered with a step-front pediment is defined by elegantly crafted molding, especially notable in the mitered corners, a theme that continues down the full side of the upper and lower tiers.  The upper doors follow the contour of the arched crown, display the same attention to molded detail, and open to reveal capacious storage within.  Pop out the shelves, and one can easily install a flat panel TV, and thanks to the external hinges, the doors will fully open out of the viewing angle.  The lower tier is for all purposes and intents a large commode, with three yawning drawers accessed with fine sold brass bale pulls and centered with embossed brass key guards.  The drawers feature a more tailored molded detail, yet are framed with the aforementioned rounded and mitered cornerposts.  Even the sides have received the furniture crafter's attention with elegantly executed raised & recessed panels, making this a good choice even if it's the only piece on the wall and visible from all angles.  Large bun feet provide support, and the piece was crafted from dense, old-growth white oak to literally last for centuries!
