Rustic Antique Country French Coffee Table was hand-crafted from thick planks of solid oak to last for generations!  The sturdy top is supported by artfully scrolled legs that are in turn attached to two scrolled feet, all joined with pegged mortise & tenon craftsmanship.  The legs are then connected with an arbalette-shaped trestle, so named for its resemblance to an archer's bow, which is double-shimmed on both sides in a traditional method handed down for centuries in northern Europe.  The natural color of the wood has been allowed to age gracefully and is finished to provide decades of enjoyment.
