19th Century Country French Armoire ~ Wardrobe in Stripped Oak combines the charming elegance of rural artisans with the sheer natural beauty of old-growth patinaed oak to create the perfect storage piece for any room!  The boldly molded crown overlooks the casework fitted with rounded cornerposts that are fluted all the way down to the elaborately scrolled apron, which is centered with a relief carving of olive branches.  In between, the two doors are designed with an upper and lower panel finely contoured and molded in place, and separated by a scrolled cross piece lavished with a bold sunflower carving.  Three steel barrel hinges support each door, accented by the steel key guards.  Doors open wide to reveal the cavernous interior fitted with two sturdy shelves for three total surfaces, with the center stile affixed to the left door providing unencumbered access.  The stripped oak provides a visually soft presence that works with a wide variety of decors.
