Antique French Regence Triple Armoire in Stripped Oak is a superlative example of the style that bridges the transition between the Louis XIV style and the Rococo, combining the best elements of both to create a lasting and timeless look that will captivate the visual senses!  Rendered from solid quarter-sawn oak, it features a step-front design that amplifies the attractiveness from all angles, with the center step-front section also sporting an arched crown molding topped with a carving of a crown.  The bonnet creates a wonderful transition to the three doors below, which all open to reveal capacious storage, with a shelf on the right, hanging rods on the left and center, and a full length mirror inside the center door.  The doors are lavished with naturalistic yet symmetrical carvings of shell and foliate motifs situated on finely molded panels which are in turn framed by more exquisitely scrolled molded detail.  Even the rounded cornerposts are carved to match, leading the eye down to the contoured and carved apron with scrolled legs and escargot feet.
