Antique Louis XV Style Stripped Oak Triple Door Armoire is beautifully crafted in solid oak with a soft stripped finish that reveals the warmth, grain, and natural character of the wood.  The elegant three-door design offers wonderful presence, with graceful movement across the arched crown, shaped panels, and scalloped apron.
The armoire is richly hand-carved with classic Louis XV details, including a dramatic crest, flowing scrollwork, floral motifs, acanthus leaves, shell cartouches, and beautifully carved roses cascading down the upper corners.  The doors feature Régence ~ Louis XV-inspired panels with graceful curves and a romantic sense of movement, especially across the elaborate center door with its raised shaped panel and deeply carved cartouche.  The side doors are framed with elegant molded panels and smaller carved accents that echo the artistry of the center design.
