18th Century Country French Buffet was hand-crafted from dense, old-growth seasoned oak to literally last for centuries!  Utilizing tailored rectilinear styling, it features a solid plank top and very sturdy framework fitted with two drawers and two cabinet doors that open to reveal abundant storage.  The left door features a swivel catch, and the right a regular lock, with both doors mounted on double steel barrel hinges, all rendered from forged metal to last as long as the casework.  Steel was also used on the drawer handles, with floret guard plates and squared bales in keeping with the style theme.  The doors also feature a squared cross-shaped recessed panel with fine molding around the framework, with the drawers adding a little curvature to the facade above magnified by the undulating form of the apron and scrolled legs below.  The center stile fronts the cabinet partition, with solid hand-hewn planks serving as the back completing the overall stoutness of the construction.
