18th Century Country French Cherrywood Buffet

18th Century Country French Cherrywood Buffet is a classic example of the style and flair of Provence, with tailored lines enhanced by elegant scrolls appearing at the top of each cabinet door and all across the apron, which is supported by scrolled legs.  The rich patina that has been acquired over the past two centuries adds incredible character.  Two spacious drawers and a voluminous cabinet space below provide excellent storage in style.  Steel full length barrel hinges and pierced key guards on the drawers and doors add loads of rural charm.  Note the double-pegged mortise & tenon joinery, a technique handed down from generation to generation, and which produced joints on this instant family heirloom that are still tight after over 200 years of use!
