18th Century French Louis XV Painted Buffet features a very tailored version of the style, with timeless French scrollwork in the door panels, apron and legs, and just a hint of foliate carvings.  The patinaed and somewhat distressed painted finish steals the show, though, and makes this a great choice for any casual decor.  The plank and panel top creates a wonderful surface to serve or display, and is framed by the tailored side panels, with a tier of recessed panels appearing on the traverse that serves as a subtle apron separating the top from the cabinet doors.  The doors are fitted with steel barrel hinges and nicely formed key guards, and open wide with the fluted stile attached to the left door to create unencumbered access to the capacious interior within.  The tailored apron with subtle foliate embellishments ties into the gracefully scrolled legs, which appear at the bottom of the fully fluted cornerposts for a truly lasting impression for a wonderful instant family heirloom piece!
