19th Century Country French Buffet

19th Century Country French Buffet is the perfect blend of form and function!  Hand-crafted completely from solid oak, even the hand-chamfered panels in the back are impressive.  Pegged mortise & tenon joinery was used all around, and the casework is aptly framed by a bold molding across the top edge as well as the base, which is supported by bun feet.  The tailored lines of the three drawers are accented by brass knobs, but the cabinet doors below exhibit the restrained style flair that identifies the piece as undoubtedly French.  Scrolled molding around raised panels provides a touch of visual appeal ,with brass hinges and key guards finishing the effect.  Doors and drawers open to reveal copious storage, and the size of the surface is more than you need to serve a big family dinner!
