19th Century Country French Stripped Buffet ~ Credenza was meticulously hand-crafted by talented artisans from select old-growth oak.  Featuring a very subtle bowfront center section which houses three vertically oriented drawers, it also boasts cavernous storage in the two flanking cabinets on each side of the drawers.  The tailored solid plank top contrasts with the contours of the apron below, but the most amazing work is in the framework and molding detail in the aforementioned drawers and cabinet doors.  Elegant French scrolls with hints of foliate flourishes are expertly rendered, and accentuated by the cast brass bale pulls, hinges and key guards.  Scrolled legs with escargot feet provide support.  Note the pegged mortise & tenon joinery throughout the design, including the hand-chamfered planks on the back side.  The natural beauty and patina of the old-growth wood is on full display thanks to our proprietary professional stripping process!
